| PLEASE NOTE: Texas Billiards has CLOSED after 41 years. Our Halloween show will have to move – if you know of a place, with an extra-large parking lot, that wants to sponsor an awesome Halloween show please let us know. ~*~*~*~ CARSTAR Auto Body Classic Car Show: We had a small show – but every show on Saturday had a low turnout. The heat was getting to everyone. Thank you to all the good folks who did brave the heat… we appreciate it more than you will ever know. The location is great, our first time there, the folks cleaned up for us. They put big fans in the shop and let us sit in the shade. A little hard to get to but the welcome was fantastic. We would love to come back here or to one of his other five locations. They also co-sponsored our show on Labor Day – we appreciate all the support that they have given us. WINNERS CIRCLE: BEST OF SHOW - ROBERT SHERMAN in a Red/White 1952 Bel-Air BEST OF SHOW TRUCK - ADAM BROWNING in a 1966 White Ford F-100 SPONSOR’S CHOICE - JIM CULLEN in a 1934 Ford Black 3 Window Coupe *~*~*~*~*~*~* DFW Toy & Car Museum Labor Day Monday Show: The gate opened at 8:00 – we arrived at 6:30 and had cars waiting on us! What a turnout. We quickly ran out of space in front. They opened the museum just for the show – we could get inside to cool off & enjoy all the exhibits that they have. Folks were enjoying the museum and the car show. If you have not been to the DFW Toy & Car Museum, it is worth the trip. There were three food vendors and they were kept busy. Lots of lookers stopped in to enjoyed the show. The 50/50 went up over $1,000.00! Sponsor Hudson Auto Glass gave away a 55” TV to a lucky winner. CarStar was our co-sponsor – special thanks to them as well. We all delt with the heat as best we could – we are ready for cooler weather for our upcoming shows. We have two posted and are still looking for a location with an extra-large parking lot for the Halloween Show which is always a big one.
