NEWS & NOTES:

It was a great day to be at Kwik Kar car show. It was warm & breezy - we are not complaining, it felt so good to be outside doing a show. We had a chance to touch basis with all of our friends and find out that most of the car people in Granbury made it with very little damage. Our prayers go out to all the victims of the tornadoes. My grandchildren are related to Glenda & Robert Whitehead in Granbury that lost everything including their lives. Someone in Granbury found a love letter that he had sent her 47 years ago (1966). This find means so much to the family. Our thoughts & prayers are also with the Oklahoma victims as well. We had nice turn out and some beautiful cars, it was just a great day. Thanks to Louis at Kwik Kar for inviting us out, we will be there again next May. We are looking forward to it & know it will be just as much fun as this show. BEST OF SHOW: MR. July 4, 2013 - 4:00 - 7:00, Bedford Boys Ranch 4th of July Celebration. Bedfords Boys Ranch, 2801 Forest Ridge Road, Bedford, TX 76021. $10.00 entry fee on entering the park. We are the ONLY cars allowed to park on site during this event. Come early to enjoy the live music, arts & crafts, food, swimming pool will be open all day. You must leave at 7:00 or wait until after the FIREWORKS! We will have the best seats in the house for the fireworks – right after the fireworks we will have a narrow window to leave the park ahead of the crowd… we do this every year & love it!
