DALE AND DONNA WILSON started D & D Rockin' Rods in order to expand on their love of classic cars. They have owned classic cars and participated in car clubs and shows for over 13 years. Their experiences in judging, hosting and participating in shows have helped them make each and every event something to remember for the whole family.
THERE IS NEVER A CHARGE for the public to attend a D & D Rockin' Rods show. There are often games for the kids, from hula-hoop to the limbo; ribbons and certificates are given to the top six winners of each game. You will also hear classic "oldies" songs that will have your toes tapping and your granny dancing!

You are also invited to sign up for a free e-mail reminder prior to each of our scheduled shows. Note that we do not sell, loan, share, give or even offer a peak at our mailing list to any other group, businesses, organization or individual, no matter how nicely they beg or how much money they offer!
D & D ROCKIN’ RODS IS NOT A CLUB, there are no meetings, dues or any obligation to participate in any show or event. If you want to participate with your classic car, truck or motorcycle there is open class registration, all makes, models and years are welcome. We frequently have under construction &/or special interested classes. The fee at our shows is usually $10.00 per vehicle. Dash plaques for all entries and door prizes are drawn throughout the show. Trophies or plaques are awarded at the end of each show, the number of trophies is determined by the sponsor &/or co-sponsors at the time of booking. The shows are not judged but awards are based on participant’s votes. The show sponsor and co-sponsors may choose special award winners as “their choice”. MONEY RAISED DURING THE YEAR at the car shows, after expenses, is used by D & D Rockin' Rods to sponsor families at Christmas in Ft. Worth and surrounding cities. D & D Christmas for Kids sponsors families who receive wrapped gifts for the children and adults as well as food for several days. In addition the children receive changes of clothing and shoes with special Santa gifts for Christmas morning.
WE ARE NOW BOOKING FOR THE BALANCE OF THE 2010 EXPANDED SEASON. If you would like to sponsor or book an event for your grand opening, community, business, club, or other special events please contact us for available dates. We also offer sponsor & co-sponsor opportunities for our shows. This is a great way to support D & D Christmas for Kids while promoting your business, group or club.
