Item: 1970 VW Bug

| Description: His name is Scooter and he has provided me with
many years of enjoyment. I acquired him in North Carolina and drove him here to
Texas when I relocated. He putted and paddled through the rain storms on the
way and arrived without a fault. I am regretfully selling him as my health is
preventing me from being able to drive a stick.
He also has been known to float better than any I have seen. I know this from personal experience. In 1994, I believe it was, there was a severe rain and hail storm. I was stranded at the mall and decided to take our chances and venture out to try and make our way home. Scooter came through it like a champ. While pickup trucks were under water with their owners standing on top of the roofs, Scooter paddled his way through it all. At one point the water was half way up the windshield, but Scooter kept paddling and pulled us up and away just like a little paddle boat. Very little water got inside Scooter and we were able to make it all the way home safely. I know that Scooter will make his new owner very happy and proud, as I have been throughout the years that I have had him.
